    I found the blended mixture was too thick to cook the rice. I had to add extra water and is taking much longer. We’ve left it to cook in the hope of maybe having it tomorrow. Edit: it didn’t work unfortunately. For this quantity of rice I really think there is a typo in the water volume, 2:1 ratio is normal and this is way off that.

    Thanks for your feedback Carrie! That's the correct quantity of rice but it will serve 6 people rather than 4 (this was an error which we've corrected)
