Presenting Ugly Duck. Delicious Bánh Mì with a twist. Alex, their founder, was influenced by the bright and energetic city of Hanoi, Vietnam. With this in mind, he created his own take on a Bánh Mì and a brand that is counter to restaurant culture; ‘individual, personable, raw and uncut.’
Their stall is based on the energy of Hanoi, from their blackboards that customers are free to write on, to the bright pops of colour of the sauces. Head there to have delicious food, express your artistic side and to have a nice chat.
Their most popular dish is their Kimchi Beef. Glazed, grilled skirt steak sat on toasted authentic Vietnamese rolls, with kimchi mayo, pickle, soy sauce, and coriander. Other showstoppers are Gunpowder Chicken and Kimchi Tofu. They use all the best ingredients for their food and care about every step of the process.
You can find them at KERB Markets around London. Go try the freshest Bánh Mì out there.
