One of the biggest problems that I find with street food is that there’s a lot of it. Like, a lot a lot. It’s practically impossible for one human being to successfully exhaust themselves of street food options and even in a country like England, where we don’t have the same sort of hawker culture that exists in other parts of the world, it’d likely take a couple of lifetimes to sample all the street eats this nation has to offer.
I’m trying, bit by bit, to help guide you to some of the best street food stalls across the country with this Street Food Spotlight series. While I solely focussed on London for the first entry (I’ve always thought that starting off in your own yard makes the most sense) this second issue spans out of the city to some of the top street food stalls in Manchester, York, and Leeds. I hope you’re hungry, MOB – because these are some of the best street food outlets out there.
