Troy Johnson, a driven entrepreneur from South West London, launched Sweet Dee’s Jerk in 2017 with his brother Jarrell, drawing on their passion for Caribbean cuisine cultivated in their family home. Despite initially pursuing a degree in Media Communications & Politics and working as a Brand & Communications Executive, Troy found himself craving more entrepreneurial freedom and quit to explore new avenues. Transitioning from a delivery driver, he seized the opportunity to start Sweet Dee’s Jerk, offering beloved Caribbean dishes like Jerk Chicken and Mac and Cheese, marking the genesis of their innovative food brand.
