Very nice - roast the cauliflower leaves if you have them, as an extra garnish 😋. Crispy chilli oil is a must!

I'm wondering what the dark orange / brown garnish was - it doesn't appear in the list of ingredients. Anyone know?

Hi Ted, this one was finished with a drizzle of crispy chilli oil. We've updated the recipe to include it!

Crispy chilli oil as a garnish is my guess

What looks like the bottom of the plate is the soup which the sourdough is floating on, Terrence

This soup was unbelievably good - comforting and classy at the same time. Used natural yoghurt instead of cream cheese, still great. Cannot wait to make it again!

Truely delicious, a punch of nostalgia from both the chestnut and cauliflower in this very gourmand soup.
