Really nice zingy sauce! I somehow made loads of pesto so will have some for lunch tomorrow. I used mixed nuts and seeds instead of smoked almonds as couldn’t find them and it was a lovely texture. A good recipe to have in the repertoire!!

I roasted fresh cherry tomatoes from the garden with garlic and used them instead of sun dried tomato. Fabulous flavor. You could get away with less parm if desired.

Silly question: When you say 8 sundried tomatoes, I am assuming you mean 8 halves?

Upped the garlic and ingredients in general, to make it a batch ( to last for a couple of dinners) definitely has a punchy flavour - a thousand times better fresh, than store bought - a 15 minute keeper! Thanks again , Mob!

First time making red pesto myself and this one is super rich and punchy so goes really well with gnocchi! We doubled the portions and needed to add a but more oil to the pesto so it was a bit smoother and also have no idea where to fnd smoked almods so just used normal but seemed ok!

This was tasty and easy to make but portion sizes for 3 people are way too small… only worked out about 4 mouthfuls each when served
