Really enjoyed this recipe! I did add additional water and lemons once the fish in!

I agree that there wasn’t enough water to cook the rice. Maybe this depends on how liquid comes out of the fish? Or perhaps I had too much heat under the pan. I added a little more hot water when I added the fish and got properly cooked rice with a crispy base

This was delicious! Only down side was there wasn’t enough water to cook the rice, so I added a bit more once I put the fish in. It worked well, just didn’t give the crispy rice effect, which I knew would be the case. Lovely flavours and the yoghurt accompaniment worked very well. I also added the coriander in with the fish because it was frozen, and used red onion for a bit of colour. Will make this again…

Really enjoyed this. Added some cardamom pods. The only thing I wasn’t keen on was all the crunchy grilled rice because the fish took longer to grill than the recipe suggested. I’d likely cover the non fish covered areas with a bit of foil next time. And there will be a next time!

Was really delicious! The only tiny snag was the rice. Cooked as instructed, but it tasted ever so slightly al-dente. Think a few more mins would have cooked it perfectly.

Delicious. Not a traditional biryani but a great midweek easy alternative. I would recommend.
