It was really gorgeous! Perfect on the cold evenings we're having, but still really fresh. I added extra sautéed veg. I wish this recipe would include cooking the rice within the cook time, as it did make it a much longer cook time than advertised.

Low and high key obsessed with this soup. I froze a bunch of the broth and then toasted up the spices and a bit of oil with some already cooked leftover stock chicken and it was still incredible.

Absolutely cracking! We took the advice in the review by Stacey M and doubled up the Lebanese 7 spice and garlic, we like punchy food! Definitely what was needed on a super cold evening!

In my opinion the broth needs punching up. Pretty good tho, especially on a cold dark evening. In the future will double the Lebanese 7 spice, and salt the broth, could likely double the garlic. I would absolutely not use water instead of broth. Great one to play with!

Really delicious!! I loved how the quick pickled onions cut through and added a different layer of flavour. I’m a fan of soup-meals, and will definitely add this to my menu planning!!
