Step 1.
Using a peeler, get a twist of orange to use for garnish.
Step 2.
In a glass, add your sugar and then bitters, using a spoon to mix until the sugar is incorporated and slightly dissolved.
Step 3.
Then add a small amount of your whiskey and mix further.
Step 4.
Add your large ice cube and then the rest of the whiskey.
Step 5.
Stir for 2-3 mins allowing the sugar to dissolve slowly and the ice the melt.
Step 6.
Express the oils of the orange twist over your drink and then wipe the rim of the glass with it, finally placing it in the drink itself.
Step 7.
Enjoy.
