This went down very well, even with my son who ate it cold. I added a tbsp of tahini (Belazu) to the yoghurt and was grateful to the commenter who suggested some lemon juice on the onions before adding them to the salad and some paprika on the yoghurt sauce once it’s been added to the dish. Great way to make 400g of beef mince feed 4 people with good appetites. Will make again.

Loved this one! Made it for work lunch prep, it was excellent. I put rose harissa in the yoghurt for a bit of extra heat but otherwise made it as per the recipe

What an epic meal! The texture of the barley paired with the juiciness of those koftas was supreme. New spices and methods to try, a dinner loved by everyone. Definitely adding this to the monthly meal list.

Amazing recipe! If I ordered this in a restaurant, I would be blown away, so it's a win. And on top of this: it's easy to make.
I added lemon to the onions and a little Harissa to the yogurt because I love a little spice in my llife! And at the end, I sprinkled a little smoked paprika on top. But this is just me Gordon Ramsaying myself, I'm sure it would be amazing without these tweaks.

Flavours are really good and it doesn’t take too much time to cook, 100% will do it again! I’ve also added a bit of lemon in the onion to make it slightly softer (and thought it added a good kick to it) - next time I’ll probably make the koftas a bit smaller 😅
