Ayesha Erkin is a trained architect that found herself spending more late nights in the kitchen than in the studio. Her favourite type of recipe development is obsessing over one thing and making it in a 100 different ways, which resulted in her debut cookbook, 'Date Of The Day'. Ayesha is an immigrant of mixed Turkic and Arab heritage. She was born and raised in Pakistan, alongside living between Saudi Arabia, Germany and moved to America when she was 14. Ayesha is the founder of 'Brown Girls Food Club' and 'People, Places & Spaces' - a design, culinary and research practice. She is based between London and Texas, but you'll often find her traveling elsewhere.
