The MOB Truck's Festival Line-Up

Want to listen to stellar live music within walking distance of your favourite food truck? Read on for the music and food festivals we'll be at this year.

Ah, festivals. There’s nothing better than having a dance in a field with some complete strangers to properly de-stress from the mundanity of office work and endless emails. The last festival I went to I ended up with a new phone contact I’d saved as “Immogen the Fairy,” and I can’t for the life of me tell you who that person is nor whether or not they actually exist. That’s part of the beauty of the festivals. One of the downsides of festivals, however, is the fact that there’s not often very good food at them. And, as someone who enjoys good food, that’s something that makes me quite sad.

Which is why the fact that the MOB Truck is going to be hitting up numerous festivals across the UK this summer is something that makes me very happy. It basically combines two of my favourite things in life: eating and dancing.

Here’s a list of the festivals where you’ll be able to find the MOB Truck this summer:

Bigfoot Festival – 18th-20th June

Yes, you’ll be able to find our four wheels planted firmly on the terrafirma of Warwickshire this June for the UK's first-ever craft beer musical festival. Music headliners Primal Scream will join the likes of Hot Chip Megamix and an eclectic mix of artists and DJs on the main stage, over the two-day festival. It doesn’t get much bigger than Bigfoot Festival.

What’s on the menu? Expect an array of Indian-inspired street food dishes like Aubergine Tikka masala, Muttar Paneer, Butter Chicken, and some banging sides. Grab a bhaji and have a boogie.

Where is it? Ragley Hall, Alcester, B49 5NJ

Taste of London – 7th-11th July and 14th-18th July

Taste of London is returning for two weekends destined to be the ultimate celebration of food and drink and… guess what? We’re going to be there with them. You’ll be able to find our handsome MOB Truck rubbing elbows with some of the city’s best restaurants and street food vendors over two weekends in July. You’re not going to want to miss this one.

Boardmasters – 11th-15th August

Cowabunga, dudes! The MOB Truck is going to be joining the likes of the Gorillaz, Jamie XX, Jorja Smith, Lianne La Havas, Maribou State, and Beabadobee at the Boardmasters festival this summer. I mean, we’re not going to be on stage or anything but we will be there serving heaps of great eats. The whole festival is super sustainably minded and promises to be a gnarly time. See you there.

Prepare to enter a vertiginous and grassy world of fun at Lincolnshire's lovely Lost Village festival. The vibes are properly Midsummer Night’s Dream and it’ll be easy for you to lose yourself to tecchie waves from Four Tet, Dixon, Eris Drew, Bonobo, and Ross From Friends to name just a few. Just don’t get so lost that you forget to check out the tasty spread of breakfast bangers we’ll be putting together for the occasion.

What’s on the menu? Expect some banging brunch dishes to fuel you through the day.

The Cambridge Club Festival - 10th-12th September

The Cambridge Club

Dance fuel is necessary at a festival like The Cambridge Club (especially when Sophie Ellis-Bextor is going to be in attendance), so it’s good news for you that we’re going to be on hand providing heaps of energy throughout the festival with plates of creamy halloumi curry and chicken gyros. What else would you want to be eating while getting your groove on to Horse Meat Disco?

What’s on the menu? A 'Best of MOB' menu featuring some of our favourite ever dishes.

Where is it? Childerley Orchard, 1a Mill Yard, Cambridge, CB23 8BA

Strawberries and Creem – 18th-19th September

Strawberries Creem

Yes, I know this one sounds like a food festival but Strawberries and Creem is actually first and foremost a music festival where you’ll be able to find DJs like Denis Sulta and Mall Grab as well as popular musicians like Bugzy Malone, Burna Boy, and Koffee. Though that’s not to say there’s no food around. The MOB Truck will be there to make sure you’re well-fed and that you don’t forget to fill your stomach among all the festival fun.

What’s on the menu? A 'Best of MOB' menu with some of our most popular dishes.
