Presenting Liam Charles and his Ultimate Cinnamon Roll-Ups - one of the first puddings to ever be made in the MOB studio.

Liam first featured on our screens as a contestant on The Great British Bake Off in 2017. Since then, he’s written 2 cookbooks, is a presenter on Bake Off: The Professionals, and a judge on Junior Bake Off.

Liam got into baking when he was younger, as a result of a severe sweet tooth. Baking became the best way to satisfy that, as well as his interest in both art and science. Today, he doesn’t only entertain on the screen, but also makes delicious savoury and sweet bakes.

Liam came to the MOB studio to make this incredible recipe from his second cookbook ‘Second Helpings’ - a mixture of savoury dishes and sweet puds. Bang this one out when you’ve got a bit of extra time. It takes a while, but it’s definitely worth the effort. And whilst the dough is rising you can put your feet up. Cinnamon and pecans all wrapped up with a malt glaze on the top. You’ll be making this time and time again.

Liam's tip

When mixing your dry ingredients keep the yeast separate from the spices. If they come in direct contact, it could kill your yeast and the rise.
