This was absolutely delicious. To make it less spicy for the kids I did half hoisin sauce half gochujang and replaced the kimchi with sauerkraut. We then served extra kimchi on the side for the adults.
I also just used water (as I didn't have unseasoned chicken stock) and didn't use all the recommended quantity - but made sure the ingredients were covered before putting in the oven. Served with Jasmine Rice, Cucumber and Edamame beans. Will definitely make it again.

Made this in my slow cooker, transfered to slow cooker after step four, only added just enough water to make sure everything was submerged - probably about 350ml? Cooked on low for 6 hours, it came out incredible

Delicious, just made the noodles with the first batch but there just seems to be way too much stock, used loads of the sauce in the noodles but ended up having to reduce the rest down on the hob for an hour after so it thickened up for the other 2 recipes

If you are in Australia/country with red onions that are tennis ball size or larger you only need 3/4-1. I feel the recipie may actually be calling for eschallots or UK red onions are tiny.
Also no oven temp..?

I found this far too salty. Loved the flavour but would use less soya sauce next time.

Nutrition value seems odd. 133g of pork per serving here equals to 4 g of protein and 1 g of fat, what seems rather low.

If you have a lot of excess liquid it makes a great soup. I used a pork shoulder joint so made crackling and used it as a soup topper. Delicious!

Says it’s a 2 hour cook at the top but then it says to cook it in the oven for 2.5 - 3 hours after everything else. It’s more like a 3.5 hour cook therefore

Quick follow up - this dish is absolutely delicious! My favourite batch cook so far. We did the sweet potato recipe with this as a base last night and it was epic!
