didn’t have any cocoa powder so just left it off - but ate some of the batter while scooping it into cups and it’s banging! keen for breakfast tomorrow! Thanks for this!

Really enjoyed this! Texture and smell really reminiscent of tiramisu but certainly couldn’t be described as sickly or sweet, so perfect for breakfast before a bout of exercise. I used espresso in place of the coffee grounds and water as assumed it would work better - but is keeping the coffee in better for the recipe? Thanks for this genius invention!

How long will these last in the fridge? Thank you!

These will keep well for 3 days in the fridge (you could push it to 5 but the oats will continue to soften). Enjoy!

What could you use instead of shelled hemp seeds?

pumpkin seeds and sunflower seeds are also high in protein but it will change the texture! You can also experiment with flaxseed which is more similar in texture to the hemp, but not as high in protein :)
