Honestly insane that this recipe was even published. This produced enough sauce for a 15 person dinner party, and as specified with this volume it was so bland. The volume of greens need to be cut at least in half, and the other ingredients modified so it’s not bland but not salty. Huge thumbs down

Super fun! The sauce has great flavor but the topping really brings it all together. I followed the recipe exactly but couldn’t find baby spinach so I used frozen and just microwaved it and added to the rest of the sauce ingredients.

I love that this recipe has protein, lots of veg, carbs and FLAVOUR. I made it with the app recipe which unfortunately hadn’t been updated to the current one so I ended up using half the sauce for two portions of noodles. My two portions was 400g pre cooked udon. Unfortunately this took me quite a while to make (I’m a slow chopper) and this wasn’t helped with using a medium saucepan to blanch the veg so anyone reading this.. use the biggest pot you have to cook the greens! Last note from me is that I used kale because I couldn’t find Cavolo Nero but it still worked great :)

Tasty and comforting! I agree with Grace - the sauce for 2x could easily work for 4 portions of noodles. My udon came in 600g so I cooked them all - still super saucy. Have a feeling the extras will make a good midnight snack :)

Hi Meagan, thanks for the helpful feedback! We've reviewed the recipe and made a few changes with it in mind. It now serves 3, with an increased quantity of noodles.

The flavour of the sauce was great! I didn’t make the crispy topping but served with my fave chilli crisp. There was a lot of sauce and maybe could have halved and had enough for everyone. Will be making this recipe again as a weeknight dinner as so easy and tasty but will probably play with the quantities as I think the recipe for 2 maybe enough for 4.

NEVER reuse oil!!!!! That is not healthy as it causes byproducts that cause inflammation and is precisely why fast food should be avoided.
