You say to halve the pickled onions, is this to divide the amount or cut in half? And if it's divide where else do they go??

Hi Rebekah! Cut the pickled onions in half (this means their strong flavour will be distributed more evenly throughout the dish), then add them all to the pot in step 1.

I’m going to assume you would get dried porcini mushroom and then rehydrate them, the resulting water would be your stock? That’s what I’d do or just substitute for vegetable stock

hi! you can buy mushroom stock in cubes from big supermarkets, otherwise sub for vegetable stock :)
